About Us

The Faculty of Pedagogy is one of the leading faculties that trains highly qualified pedagogical specialists in the fields of pedagogy and methodology of primary education, pedagogy and psychology, special pedagogy, history, traditional music art, chemistry, biology, geography, chemistry–biology, mathematics, physics, and informatics.

The training of specialists at the faculty is carried out based on a three-tier education system at the bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD doctoral levels. The educational process places particular emphasis on mastering foreign languages, improving the quality of education, and developing cooperation with educational institutions and various organizations.

Graduates of the faculty successfully work in the fields of science and education, public administration structures, cultural and educational institutions, internal affairs bodies, and the system of the National Security Committee. Among the faculty’s graduates are well-known political, public, and scientific figures at the national and regional levels.

The training of specialists is based on fundamental educational programs in the fields of pedagogy, psychology, history, traditional music art, natural sciences, and exact sciences. Currently, 15,085 students are enrolled at the faculty across 12 educational programs. Among them are international students from Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Russia, and Azerbaijan.

The educational process is supported by a highly qualified faculty staff. The faculty employs 6 professors, 32 candidates of sciences, 22 associate professors, 13 PhD doctors, 36 master’s degree holders serving as senior lecturers, 5 doctoral students, and 2 practicing specialists.

The main mission of the faculty is to train a competitive specialist who combines fundamental knowledge with professional competencies, embodies spiritual and moral values, demonstrates patriotism, and possesses creative and innovative thinking.
